World class Ford 5 speed from... I think a fox body; can't remember off the top of my head.
Why not be a bit more brutal with the datsun? maybe a rotary engine + a small turbo?
I've done the rotary thing already, and rotary 240z has already been done. Also for the same cost and reliability (if not more) as a ka24de I get the power of a SR20det from junkyard parts.
Rotards are pretty reliable if maintained properly but the volvo engine is something else and that matters. Good luck and post lots of photographs.
