After I came back form the office I asked Robbie to help me move a heavy object, and thankfully he said yes.

Saturday we moved from the house to the pub and then back to the house, and then a banana got involved

070-078 soo much!

I really haven't been on the computer for one simple reason; I was burnt out on the computer screen. As a matter of fact it is the first time that it has ever happened. Then again I guess the difference is that before when I was spending days in front of the screen it was for fun, but recently it has been for intense work. It has been nice, but I have missed the interents.

-077- I just needed to take something because the day was going to be tough, so here is my throw around lappy.

-078- My submission for the Oakley design challenge from a couple weeks ago.

After finishing their challenge, I have decided that the next bit of custom design work that I am going to do is going to be a pair of frames for my blind eyes. I really don't know how they are going to look, but I know what the material and hardware I will be using: frame and temple out of stainless steel, screws are brass, if I choose to use hinges they will be brass, if I choose to go with something that I come up with then the bushings will be nylon. There is however one design aspect that I am damn positive it will have; "The Crazy Octopus" running along the temples. I'll start taking pictures of the initial design once I start sketching it all out, and start getting it modeled up in SolidWorks.

But yeah... the trend of the week has pretty much been drinking with the mates, and Wade having his hand in the shot. I keep forgetting to bring my camera everywhere so most of these have been with the phone. As much as I keep saying it, I am really going to try to be that guy with the clacker around his neck. 

This upcoming week should be awesome fun as I am going to start lunchtime cycling again. Sadly I only get 30 minutes, but I figure if i start bringing my own lunch then I can cycle for 30 min non-stop and then just munch on food when I get back in. Should be a blast, made only better by me getting those caballo legs back up to par!

068 Robin (lp), 069 Drinks with Louis XIV

I needed something ASAP, so here is Robbie and Erin at my place talking about something deeply riveting.

Last night we started out the evening at this awesome restaurant in San Diego called Veg-n-out. Amazing veggie burgers, and their fries (read large potato wedges) were outstanding. After that we made out way to Fluxx to see Hot Moon, Lesands, and the reuniting of Louis XIV. Short and sweet of it all: Hot Moon had a couple good songs, lesands shook the house, and Louis XIV tore it down. I was hoping for a bit more of the sensualness in Jason Hill's voice, but we did not leave disappointed

This morning I made my way to Cafe101 where I grabbed some coffee and avocado omelet for breakfast before my first half day at work! Woooo love Fridays!

Nearly got to work a late because of the rainy morning, but thankfully I was able to arrive precisely on time. The office was frikken awesome, and due to the handbook I am pretty this will be my last post about it. After work I made my way to D street had a great time and an awesome burger battle

065, new beginings

So as you may have noticed, I haven't posted much on the build of my car, and well... it really isnt going to be any faster. Last week I finalized a position at a new company, and I am going to be starting tomorrow morning. Because of this change in lifestyle, I'll only be able to work on the car on the weekends; good news is that with the constant income stream comes parts of a higher caliber. Then again I could be spending it on camera equipment, but car is held a bit higher in rank due to it not being drivable. Or spending it on drinks, dinners, and high brow cooking ingredients; which is more than likely going to be the case...

In reality though these last few months hasn't been the best that it could have been. I have tried and tried to get things to work, but it didn't; the effort just wasn't there, so I had no choice but to raise that white flag and surrender. Then in the last couple weeks, things have turned around for the amazing; most of which you have seen, others will be coming in the subsequent days. 

So here is to new beginnings, and happier days (it is about fucking time).

Next day was my alphabet birthday, 26, and it was frikken awesome. Went to the junkyard and shoe shopping with my sister, made pizza with friends and fam, and was drinking from 5pm to 5am. best. No photos from the evening as I didn't want to possibly break my camera.

kinda a cop out couple days but it was made official that I will be working with a new firm starting on Monday so I have been sorting things out. As a result of the new job I will be about 3 miles away from the beach (and bull taco) so I decided to turn the bike that Drew and I pieced together into something that looked decent from 10 feet.
